Production notes below.

I must say that if your job depends on presenting well, do not use prerecorded PowerPoint presentations and present with timings. Unless if you want to lose your job. My second experience working with such a presentation is worse than the previous one. Several of the slides somehow had slide durations of less than 1 second, and had nothing to do with the actual duration of audio! Luckily the presentation was recorded (for the purpose of production) while it was presented; it was not a prerecorded presentation. And this time around the recording was done on a Windows machine; you can’t blame a Mac (or Mac version of PowerPoint) for this one. The audio track used was recorded separately (onto my laptop with the Takstar SGC-598).

For my editing purposes, I have the “luxury” of adjusting all of those timings and correct things in post (and disgust with PowerPoint). It wasn’t easy as I even got lost trying to tie in the slides with the audio, and I received help to know which slides corresponded to which part of the talk. So if you’re going to present with PowerPoint, no matter what, present live. No prerecorded stuff. Just don’t.

Forget the background noise present in this presentation; it’s just the sound of breakfast being prepared. Sorry for that.
